From New York City: Take the New York State Thruway to Exit 21. Take Route 23 West to Acra (approximately 10 miles). At the Acra Manor Motel, make a left turn onto County Route 31. It will be 2 miles to the campground, on your left. For a GPS route, enter our street address as: 3835 County Road 31, Purling, NY 12470, or directly enter the following coordinates. Latitude: N 42-17.160 Longitude: W 74-02.919. From the South, approaching the campground from Route 32: Turn left onto Hearts Content Road / County Road 31. This is the first left after the sign for Balliwick Ranch. The campground is approximately 6 miles further. You will pass through Round Top, which is marked by the Fire House & Hartmann’s Bakery. The campground is about 2 miles beyond the center of town. After you cross the intersection of Mountain Road (County Road 24), the campground will be approximately 300 feet further, on your right. From the East, approaching the campground from Route 23 in Windham: The landmarks for the turn onto County Road 31 are the Acra Manor Motel on your left and a Whip-O-Will sign off to your right. Take a right onto County Road 31, and the campground will be approximately 2 miles, on your left. |
